John Underwood’s vision began in college while writing a thesis on how to organize and operate a business in the Beverage Manufacturing Industry. In 1963, his vision became a reality when he started Bar None in a small 600 sq. foot building located in Santa Ana, California. The facility went through some expansions over the next few years, but it was in 1968, when he moved his company to Tustin, the heart of Orange County, CA, where Bar None occupied more than 10,000 sq. feet.
